Flowers are beautiful and they are also sexy; as reproductive organs. Only a thin line marks the difference and often such separations are ignored. Colour, shapes, forms and texture, all striving to excite and to entice but also simply just pleasing to the eye. In our world, sexuality provokes but beauty evokes; a perfectly workable contradiction.
