Beautiful town! The first day's weather was bad. We arrived at 8am and it was raining. We walked around town with our backpacks in the bloody rain looking for a bloody hostel or guesthouse. Our timing couldn't have been better. We arrived in the midst of Semane Grande or the Big Week festival. All the hostels and budget places were full. So it was either the park, or a 4 star hotel.

But San Sebastián (or Donosti) is not the capital of the Basc country (or Euskadi...). The capital is Bilbao (or Bilbo...).
