The Dutch Masters painted world renowned still life paintings to the tune of Memento Mori, remember your mortality, as a reminder of the brevity of life. This week, I had a very real reminder on the frailty of life. Moments like these force you to pause to take stock of your life, making you wonder what you are doing with your time on earth. Are we living or are we merely alive?
