Bloodshed

Whats the word on the street?

Kadam, Douma, Idlib, Daraa, Qabun, suburbs of Damascus where there has been blood shed and lives lost. Blood shed in the middle east, especially to those places where I've visited, always troubles me. We all know that the Assads and the Syrian state machinery are very apt at quashing revolts. I just wonder how much of it is still intact and whether Bashar Assad has the stomach for it. I hope not. As a techie, I am heartened by the role that tech and telco played in the Arab Spring uprising. Tech is a liberator but can it withstand brute force? The answer will come from the streets; Listen close.
